With over 25-years’ experience in the funeral business, the owner of Monuments of Victoria has had the privilege of working with a number of families as they were either experiencing or planning one of the most emotional and transitional points of their lives. That's why we understand the difficult decisions that each family is making and we work hard to assist in a professional, responsible, caring, and courteous manner.
We have deep roots in our community and we plan on helping families for a long time. That’s why we believe in complete transparency when it comes to our pricing. Whether you have a small or large budget, we understand that it does not reflect on the value of the person we’re memorializing and we give every client the same amount of care and attention. We offer fair pricing for a service that we believe is more than a job, it’s a calling.
Whether you are interested in pre-planning memorials, time-of-need tributes, or any time later down the road, we’re here to work on your schedule. We understand that every family is different – and it’s our goal to meet your needs when the time is right for you. Some families want to move quickly, others want to take their time – there is no right time or answer when it comes to telling your loved one’s story. Our focus is on the living and celebrating the lives of the people who they care about most.
To provide unique, custom products of an extremely high quality memorializing the life of someone precious to the customer.
Kim is a native Victorian. She has worked for over 25 years in the funeral industry as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. She is thankful to be able to help others during a difficult time – selecting a memorial allows a family to remember their loved one in a positive way and creates an everlasting memory for generations to come. Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time in her yard, hunting & fishing, and more recently playing golf with her husband. Alongside her Dad, she also raises cattle and rabbits.
Elizabeth was born and raised in Victoria, Texas. She is a married mother of three, with two grown children and a sophomore at Victoria East High School. She also has two grandchildren. She has worked with Monuments for five years and the most rewarding part of her job is the look on a customer's face once they see their completed marker. That look and their tears of comfort, when they see the perfect tribute for their loved one, is the part that she loves most because in a small way she was able to help them during a very difficult time on their life.
Sherlyn Harrold retired from Victoria College after 20 years of service and feels lucky to have met Kim Phillips and work for her at Monuments of Victoria since it opened over seven years ago. She works part-time so that she can enjoy spending time and doing things with her three daughters and seven grandchildren. Working at Monuments of Victoria has been very rewarding for Sherlyn as it has allowed her to see how people honor their loved ones that have passed on.
